The rundown
Vaer's D5 Tropic is a 39 mm automatic diver assembled in the USA, sized for medium wrists at 46 mm lug to lug and just under 12 mm thick. A Miyota 9015 movement beats at 28,800 bph with a 42-hour reserve behind a flat sapphire crystal, and the case is rated to 20 ATM (660 feet). The two-tone cream and black dial pairs applied markers with an arrow hour hand and heavy BGW9 lume. It ships on a black FKM dive strap with a second strap or bracelet of your choice, and carries a two-year waterproof warranty.
