The rundown
The Barista Express puts a conical burr grinder and an espresso machine in one brushed stainless body, grinding 18 g of fresh beans straight into a 54 mm portafilter with 16 grind settings to dial in. A 15-bar Italian pump starts each shot with low-pressure pre-infusion before ramping to 9 bar, while a PID-controlled Thermocoil holds water at 200°F for consistent extraction. A manual steam wand handles proper microfoam for flat whites and lattes, and single, double or manual shot buttons keep the workflow simple.
