The rundown
The Captain is Thursday's signature cap-toe lace-up, cut from chrome-tanned leather and built on a Goodyear welt, so it can be resoled rather than replaced. Inside, a cork-bed midsole molds to your foot over time, and Poron antimicrobial insoles absorb shock on long days. Waxed cotton laces, reinforced eyelets, a soft glove-leather lining and a studded rubber outsole make it equally at home on a job site or with a jacket and jeans.
