The rundown
The NotePin is a 16.6 g recorder about the size of a thumb drive, worn as a magnetic pin, clip, lanyard or wristband. Two MEMS microphones pick up voices up to about 10 feet away, with 20 hours of continuous recording, 40 days of standby and 64 GB of storage. Recordings sync to the Plaud app, which transcribes in 112 languages with speaker labels and turns them into summaries from thousands of templates. The free plan includes 300 transcription minutes a month.
